English Language (prerequisite)
A good knowledge of the English language, at least level B2, is essential for admission to the Master's Degree in Sociology and Social Challenges (SOSGLO) and must be demonstrated in one of the following ways:
- you have completed a three-year degree with courses taught in English;
- you have passed a three-year university examination in English for at least 6 CFUs;
- you have obtained a certification of English language knowledge of no less than level B2, issued by the University or by certifying bodies recognized by MIUR.
English for the Social Sciences (additional 3 CFU during the MA)
An additional 3 CFU of English language skills are foreseen during the course of the degree.
The Master's Degree in Sociology benefits from the range of courses offered by the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo (CLA). Students will be able to enroll via the CLA website from September. Please note: students who pass the test at the CLA must subsequently enroll in one of the available examinations in order to have their test registered and recorded.
Alternatively, students may choose to acquire the 3 CFUs of English Language for the Social Sciences by attending and successfully passing the exams of the courses offered in English by the MA in Sociology (SOSGLO). For this type of CFU and their validation in the study plan, please contact Prof.
